Membership Terms
Billing date, skipping, cancellation, declared value, swap window.
1 · Billing date
Membership is not open for purchase yet. The four plans are published so the terms are visible before anybody can be charged, not after.
When it opens, billing is monthly on the date you join, and the first box ships after the first payment clears.
2 · Declared value
Every box shows its full contents and its declared value for your approval before it ships. Nothing is a surprise and nothing is sealed until you have seen what is in it.
The declared value is what the items are worth at the published comparable, not a marked-up figure.
3 · The 14-day swap window
Fourteen days from approval to swap an item in your box for another of the same declared value.
A swap is free and does not count against anything.
4 · Skipping a month
You can skip any month from your account, up to the day before billing. A skipped month is not charged and does not extend or shorten anything.
There is no limit on how many months you skip.
5 · Cancellation
Cancel at any time, from the account page, effective at the end of the month you have paid for. No notice period and no cancellation fee.
Lux Club is accruing credit rather than a shipment: cancelling leaves the credit you have accrued in your account, and it does not expire.
6 · Bundling discounts
Holding any plan reduces the vault consignment fee from 8% to 6%, on every card you consign, for as long as the plan is active.
No plan bundles with another and there is no multi-plan discount.
